We suggest wrapping the front of the head strap with gauze or some washable comfortable fabric. We did not use a foam cushion as most of these will degrade rapidly when exposed to strong chemical cleaners. The design has ample interior space for the user to wear glasses and respirators. It does not sit directly on the user's face. Shield angle adjusts and locks in place with Velcro side locks. The shield pivots open. The strap is adjustable with Velcro hook and loop. Made in USA.
